Attendance Policy
|
|
|
|
Upon enrolling, the student reserves a place in a particular class. Since state law limits class size, the school insists upon prompt and regular attendance at all times. The student is required to report to school at a regular scheduled time. ALL students MUST attend 80% of the duration of the course to attain a satisfactory attendance rating.

Absence
|
|
|
|
An absence due to illness, death in the immediate family, and/or other unavoidable circumstances must be reported to the school. All absences will be considered in calculation of both satisfactory academic progress and additional tuition for attendance beyond a scheduled ending date.
|

|
Leave of Absence
|
|
|
|
A student that may face severe hardships, financial or medical condition which requires absence from school for more than sixty (60) days are urged to contact the Director, who may grant leave of absence for the time missed. No student may be granted more than one leave of absence within a (twelve) 12 month time frame.

|
|
Make Up Work
|
|
|
|
All practical, theory test and lab work should be made up following an absence. Any work or tests not made up will be given an incomplete. The student is responsible for contacting his/her instructor to make up any work.

|
Grounds for Termination or Dismissal
|
|
|
|
School reserves the right to dismiss a student for failure to attend class regularly; refusal to complete assigned classes or clinical work or breech of school rules and regulations, falsification to school records; for health or other reasons that adversely affect other students. Students are responsible for their own personal kits and personal belongings that may have been left in the school. These items must be removed from the school’s premises within 30 days from the date of termination letter or they will be removed by the school and disposed accordingly. Intentional destruction of school property, other students’ or staff members’ property, physical violence and threats of violence can result in immediate dismissal without previous warning.
